Film opening storyboard





  • This is my film opening story board, i drew it so it would reflect exactly how i want my film opening to look like, the chosen camera angles. The production logo comes on the screen and then it cuts to black to begin the film opening, the first shot then there is a high angle of a dead girl on the floor, and then we have a medium close up of her sister crying and reading the letter that the girl wrote before committing suicide. shot two cuts to black and "6 months before" appears on the screen, shot 3 then is a shot reserve shot of the girl and her sister talking about her going to a new school, then in shot 4 it gets a little more rough to the girl, there is a match on action and a medium close up of the actions. Shot 5 is a medium shot of the girl getting bullied and then a close up of the girl picking her books up from the floor,  shot 6 happens when the girl gets home crying, shot reverse shot and then a medium close up of the girls face. Shot 7 is a medium close up of the girl in the toilet crying and reading all the comments people made about her in social media, shot 8 high angle then blackout because is when the girl kills herself.

4. Who would be the audience for your media product?  Once I started planning and researching to develop my media product, I decided to represent young teenage girls, going through bullying.  My intended audience overall are teenage girls because the main character in my media product is also a teenage girl, so I thought it would be convenient to represent teenage girl thought the main character and her story.  The gender of the main character was very hard to decide, as girl suffer bullying much more than boys, so if I wanted to get my message across, I had to make my intended audience want to watch the movie.
