Ideas and Inspirations

 A GIRL LIKE HER 

A girl like her is a film that really influenced my ideas, it gave me the chance to get inspirations and then later on in my film opening to incorporate my interpretation of what bullying is. Bullying is a really important matter, so being able to do a film opening about it and express how i feel about it, it's great. "A girl like her" is about a girl that gets bullied at school and also through the internet, she has a hidden camera on her and every bullying scene was filmed, and later on showed to the police when the girl attempts to commit suicide. The clear shots of the film, and the constant miss-en-scene capture my attention because it was really simple yet it had a really big significance.
The process of my filming will be very carefully done because I want to reflect my interpretation of what bullying is through my camera angles and my shots. 

Watching various movies, that include verbal or physical violence really inspired me to make my own version of what I see happening around the world. A GIRL LIKE HER, is a very emotional film that makes people reflect and think about everyone being affected.  My main focus and idea is to deliver a message through my film opening and really capture the audience's attention, there will be a voice over which will help to explain the story on my own words as I am the main character.
